Corporate Governance

Triodos Bank increased its share capital by EUR 34 million, or 13%. (impact statistic)

How Triodos Bank directs, administers and controls its work says a lot about who the organisation is. It has developed processes and policies, and implemented laws, to both meet its obligations and reflect its mission. Triodos Bank chooses not to list on a stock exchange, for example, to avoid a system that puts making as much profit as possible – or profit maximisation – above all else. Instead it runs a professional, profitable sustainable bank that investors invest in through a special structure. Details of the Dutch Corporate Governance Code and the Banking Code are explained on the following pages.
