As the debt crisis will continue to have its impact in 2012 and the troubled global financial system will cause further uncertainty in the financial markets, more investors, both institutional as well as private individuals will refocus their investment strategies. The interest in ESG screened investments as wel as impact investing is increasing. Both have been at the core of the investment focus of Triodos Investment Management since its start. We are therefore confident that in 2012 the funds managed by Triodos Bank and Triodos Investment Management’s 30 years of experience in bringing together values, vision, and return on investments can provide a haven for these investors.

Triodos Investment Management will continue to develop and launch new products that will deliver on the exciting opportunities available in impact-investing and in investing on the stock exchange, using strict ESG criteria. In 2012 we will launch three new investment funds in the areas of Food and Agriculture, Renewable Energy in developing countries and Arts and Culture.

As a result we expect to start growing again in 2012, with 10-15% growth of our assets under management.
