Some investors want to invest as sustainably as possible in companies listed on the stock-exchange. Triodos Bank has created opportunities for customers to invest in the most sustainable listed companies via sustainably-screened Social Responsible Investment (SRI) Funds. In addition, we enter into a constructive dialogue (engagement) with companies about their sustainability practices.
Small change. Big difference.
Through investing in the stock-exchange with the four Triodos SRI Funds, our investors’ euro outperforms the average sustainable performance of listed companies by 110% in reducing carbon-intensity, 107% in using renewable energy, 59% in ensuring strong supply chain standards, 90% in monitoring of the supply chain, 78% in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) based remuneration policies, and 96% in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) reporting.
Across all sustainability indicators the portfolio of the Triodos SRI funds outperform the average by 20%.
Encouraging transparent corporations
Transparency is key to sustainable finance. That’s why it is a core business principle of Triodos Bank. The Triodos SRI funds are amongst the most transparent in the sector according to the European Sustainable Investment Forum and the United Nations office that oversees the United Nations Principles on Responsible Investment.
