28.4 EUR million
as per the
end of 2014
Triodos Organic Growth Fund was launched with an initial fund size of EUR 25.3 million. During its first year of operation, the fund made two investments and set up a Luxembourg holding company and a German partnership to facilitate investment structuring in different European countries. The fund’s net assets increased to EUR 28.4 million as per the end of 2014.
In 2014, the return of the Q-share class for institutional, professional and certain qualified investors was -0.8%. This decrease is in line with the projections during the ramp-up phase of the portfolio, as running costs are not yet compensated for by income and value creation in the fund’s portfolio. Indeed, the fund’s performance has actually exceeded expectations due to exceptionally strong current trading results of the fund’s first portfolio company.
